One log will yield enough veneer to produce about 25 desks or cabinets. Sophisticated cutting techniques produce very thin layers of veneer to get maximum use out of one hardwood or softwood log.

We prefer to deal with log suppliers who are knowledgeable about reforestation and selective harvesting. We strongly advocate minimal disruption to natural growth in North America's hardwood and softwood forests, and support efforts to secure them for future generations.
